Provides SENCOs and school leaders with dedicated resources, regular news and updates about local and national developments via monthly newsletters and 3 x Inclusion Briefings a year, remote consultancy provision from a named Inclusion Consultant, plus access to the resources section of the OXSIT website www.oxsit.org.uk

Foundation Package Plus- £791

Annual Inclusion Consultancy Packages

These packages provide bespoke support to schools at a discounted rate, tailor-made to meet your school development priorities.  These include all the benefits of the foundation package for free.

  • OXSIT Package 1 (Three days): £1,639
  • OXSIT Package 2 (Four days): £2,185
  • OXSIT Package 3 (Six days): £3,277

Support from packages is tailored to the needs of your school and your staff to improve provision and outcomes for pupils with SEND. 

Your package could include support with the following or for any of the packages outlined underneath:

  • Developing quality first, inclusive teaching across the school
  • Developing SEND provision across the school with SLT
  • Monitoring and improving inclusive teaching and learning – using book looks, deep dives, learning walks, TA observations
  • SEND systems and processes, provision mapping, reviewing Pupil Profiles
  • Reviewing policies and SEND statutory website content
  • Annual Reviews, guidance for EHCP and additional funding applications,
  • All aspects of the role for New SENCOs
  • Whole staff training on a range of topics (see ‘In School CPD’ page of website)
  • TA training
  • Interventions and assessments training
  • Developing provision for pupils with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs and creating Inclusion Support Plans
  • Meeting the needs of EAL learners and monitoring their progress
  • Providing advice and guidance on individual learners (including written reports)

Training Packages

SEND Online Training package 1 A package of 4 x 1 hr online staff  meetings on MS Teams on any of the courses OXSIT offer throughout the year which can be personalised to your setting’s needs.  (£612)

SEND Online Training package 2 A package of 6 x 1 hr online staff  meetings on MS Teams (1 per ½ term) on any of the courses OXSIT offer throughout the year which can be personalised to your setting’s needs. (£918)

Neurodivergent Learners Series: Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia and writing difficulties, Developmental Co-ordination Disorder, Executive Function Working Memory and Cognitive Load, Moderate Learning Difficulties, ADHD,

SEN Specific Packages

Behaviour Support package: A package of 2 half day visits to support staff to improve inclusion for an individual learner with SEMH and behaviours that challenge. (£500)

Half day 1:

  • Discussion with SENCO about pupil
  • Observation of pupil
  • Review of SEND file and support to date
  • ISP meeting with key staff

Half day 2 (pm visit): 

  • Observation of pupil
  • Follow up meeting to discuss progress and next steps
  • 1-hour staff meeting on Inclusive Classrooms 4 ‘Meeting the needs of learners with SEMH and behaviours that challenge’  

Dyslexia and literacy difficulties Package: (£500)

A package of 2 half day visits to include:

  • Assessment of pupils of concern using tools including PhAB, LAPack, Raven’s Progressive Matrices (2 hours)
  • 1 x 1-hour staff meeting on dyslexia
    • A literacy difficulties SEND surgery for teachers and SENCO to discuss strategies to support particular pupils

TAs/SENCO can observe suitable assessments to build inhouse capacity for the future. 

An assessment report summary will be provided for each pupil assessed. NB this will not be a diagnosis of dyslexia. 

SEND and pupil premium reviews

We will work with you to review your provision, identify strengths and areas of development. £867 (one day in school and comprehensive report)

Days from Inclusion Consultancy packages can also be used for reviews.

  • A 1-hour staff meeting from OXSIT’s Neurodivergent learners series of your choosing  

Half day 2: 

  • Assessment of pupils causing concern whilst training SENCO/TAs on assessments delivery OR observations of pupils in class (2 hours)
  • A 1-hour staff meeting from OXSIT’s Neurodivergent learners series of your choosing.

Inclusive practice for excellent SEN Support provision: (£500)

A package of 2 half day visits to include:

  • 2 x 1-hour staff meetings from our Inclusive Classrooms series, Neurodivergent Learners series or on The Graduated Approach
  • Learning walks to observe SEN Support provision and key pupils
  • Feedback and SEND surgery time.  

Dyslexia and literacy difficulties: (£500)

A package of 2 half day visits to include:

Half day 1:

  • Assessment of pupils of concern using tools including PhAB, LAPack, Raven’s Progressive Matrices (2 hours)
  • 1 x 1-hour staff meeting on dyslexia

Half day 2: 

  • Assessment of pupils of concern using tools including PhAB, LAPack, Raven’s Progressive Matrices (2 hours)
  • A literacy difficulties SEND surgery for teachers and SENCO to discuss strategies to support particular pupils

SEND surgery: getting it right at SEN Support: A one-and-a-half-day package to support you to develop strategies and provision for learners at SEN Support who are not making good progress.  (£918)

  • 3 x half day visits (one each full term)
  • Includes observation of pupils followed by meetings for teachers and SENCO to discuss support and strategies for the pupils as part of The Graduated Approach Assess Plan Do Review cycle

SEND Training packages: 

  • A virtual package of 4 x 1 hr staff meetings on MS Teams on any of the courses OXSIT offer throughout the year.  (£612)
  • A virtual package of 6 x 1 hr staff meetings on MS Teams (1 per ½ term) on any of the courses OXSIT offer throughout the year.  (£918)

Effective TA deployment and practice package: A one-and-a-half-day package to develop understanding around how teachers should deploy and use TAs for maximum impact in the classroom and to improve TA interactions to develop learning and independence in pupils. (£918)

Half day 1:

  • Learning walk to observe TAs in class and leading interventions
  • Development planning for Teacher /TA collaborative working using MITA RAG self-assessment

Half day 2: 

  • Effective TA practice training for TAs 2-hours
  • Effective deployment of TAs 1-hour staff meeting

Half day 3:

  • Learning walk to review impact of training
  • Review of impact on development plan with SENCO
